Milestone: World's First Green Fire-Rated Door Tested in FRIM

On 21 August 2025, Weng Meng Group of Companies achieved a historic breakthrough with the world's first Green Fire-Rated Door made from Oil Palm Trunk (OPT) engineered core, successfully tested at Forest Research Institute Malaysia. The result exceeded expectations—achieving 72 minutes for a 60-minute fire rating, proving that sustainable materials can meet and even surpass global safety standards.
