Weng Meng Industries Sdn Bhd was incorporated on 27 Feb 1979 as a manufacturer of timber joinery products such as wooden cable drums, wooden pallets, office furniture and fittings. In 1989, Weng Meng diversified into producing steel cable drums to cater for heavy-duty cable applications and this has become one of the major products manufactured using the latest technologies.In the 20 years since, Weng Meng has earned a solid reputation quality and reliability because of our dynamic vision and commitment to being the ideal partner to the cable and wire industry. Today the company has become Malaysia's largest manufacturer and supplier of cable drums to the power and telecommunication cable industries, manufacturing drums for all types of cables and steel wire ropes.

Weng Meng's success is due to our business philosophy of flexibility, reliability, and integrity. that contribute towards our customers’ operational cost efficiencies and productivity.
In line with this aim, our in-house research & technical team builds on feedback received from the industry to develop new products. This has resulted in cost-effective innovations such as the knock-down steel packing drum and the recently introduced bobbin for telephone and fibre optic cables. Such innovations have propelled Weng Meng to the forefront of the growing Malaysian telecommunication industries.
Diversity
In the mid-80's, Weng Meng ventured into the production of timber joinery and door products , in particular, fire-rated doors, decorative doors, topboards, baseboards and wooden pallets.Jurusanwa Enterprise Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in 1985 to market Weng Meng's proudly Made-in-Malaysia SANDOR® door products.
Since then, the high design and manufacturing standards of SANDOR® products have earned a worldwide reputation for impeccable quality and performance.
Production Facility
The exponential growth in global demand for Weng Meng products made it necessary to expand production facilities. In 1997, a second factory was set up for the manufacturing of Engineered Doors. By 2003, Weng Meng had set up a third manufacturing facility.
Since 2006, all production facilities have been moved into Weng Meng's new 20-acre state-of-the-art centralised production facility, which also serves as the company's headquarters.
